Since 2019, Simply Tidy Clean has proudly partnered with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit organization that provides free home cleaning for cancer patients. Through a trusted network of residential cleaning companies, Cleaning for a Reason helps patients and families during one of the most exhausting, emotional, and life-changing seasons they may ever face. Cancer Touches Every Family, Including Ours
Cancer is not distant to the Simply Tidy Clean family. It is not just something we hear about during awareness months or see in fundraising campaigns. It has touched our team, our families, our clients, and our community.
Some of our own team members have completed cancer treatment. Two former cleaners are currently undergoing chemotherapy because their cancer has returned. These are people who have stood beside us, cared for homes, supported families, and poured their energy into helping others feel cared for.
Now, they are fighting again.
Chelsea, our Sales Manager, also understands the pain of cancer in a deeply personal way. She lost her grandpa, James Wilkinson, to colon cancer when she was only six years old. He was just 55.
That kind of loss stays with a family. Even when years pass, you remember the empty chair, the missing voice, the moments that should have been shared. Cancer does not only affect the person diagnosed. It affects children, spouses, parents, siblings, friends, coworkers, neighbors, and entire communities.
That is one reason Cleaning for a Reason matters so much to us.
It gives people a way to help in a practical, meaningful, immediate way.

What Cleaning for a Reason Provides
Cleaning for a Reason connects eligible cancer patients with local cleaning partners who donate professional house cleaning services. Each patient
receives two free home cleanings, typically one cleaning per month for two months. The program serves patients across all 50 states and Canada through a network of more than 1,200 residential cleaning companies. Cleaning for a Reason
Since its founding in 2006, Cleaning for a Reason and its partners have provided free cleaning services to more than 65,000 cancer patients and their families, with donated services valued at more than $23 million.
Those numbers are powerful.
But behind every number is a real person.
